About Goldie & Wren
Our story
It started with a rented flat and a ceiling light we hated.
Every place we've ever loved being: the wine bar with the tiny lamps, the friend's place that always feels calm, the hotel room you didn't want to leave. They had one thing in common. None of them were lit from the ceiling.
And every rental we've ever lived in had the opposite: one cold bulb, dead centre, flattening everything it touched. Fixing it properly meant electricians, drilling, landlord negotiations. So most people just… live under the big light.
Goldie & Wren exists to end that. We hunt down the warm, cordless, genuinely beautiful pieces that restaurants and designers already use, test them in real homes, and ship them from warehouses in Australia and Canada so they arrive in days, not in a month, and not with the wrong plug.
No electrician. No landlord conversations. No “office white”. Just the room you already have, finally lit the way you imagined it when you signed the lease.
